Recently, society implementation has been recognized as one of the important issues as an outcome from academic research and development (R&D). In response to this social requirement, the Study Group for Social Implement Creation was established last year in The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ). In this symposium, we would like to invite speakers, who have worked on the R&D for society implementation in life sciences, and discuss on the social implementation in model case studies. Through the symposium, we aim to have a deep discussion on the common issues and solutions in social implementation of R&D in life sciences.
