Energy Sustainability in the Process Industries (ESPI)

Conference Objective:
The conference is dedicated to providing a forum for discussion that will help guide industry to reduce energy usage and minimize CO2 emissions.
The purposes of the Global Conference on Energy Sustainability are to
- define research necessities
- present the recent technological advancements
- facilitate implementation actions of energy-saving technologies into industry
- discuss the needs and incentives of governments and associated organizations
- discuss internationally coordinated strategies
To combine the world's technological and scientific knowledge in this field, this conference is sponsored by the chemical engineering societies of the U.S. (AIChE) and Germany (DECHEMA), and endorsed by Japan's SCEJ.
Paper Criteria
Presentations should include the sound science and technical groundwork essential for successful outcomes. Papers of the highest quality will be considered and possibly selected for presentation and/or publication in the proceedings.
Paper Topics to Include:
- Innovations in the efficient production and use of fossil fuels
- Innovations in the development of renewable energy sources
- Advancements in the design of efficient products and production processes in the automotive industry
- Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology
- Breakthroughs in energy-efficient production processes
- Breakthrough in applications in the electronics industry
- Energy and feedstock sustainability in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech industry
- Policies and Initiatives that encourage energy savings and carbon dioxide emissions reductions
